National Celebration of 40 Years of Love Gala - 09/07/2026.

Photo highlights from the Parliament celebration event in Wellington to commemorate the 40th anniversary in Parliament which recognised the political community efforts that achieved reform and advanced LGBTQ+ rights. The event was hosted by Lynda Topp, with speeches, performances, and reflections honouring the activists and communities behind the reform. The event also featured various speeches from activists and community leaders, performances by The Glamaphones, Tīwhanawhana, and Vinyl & Proud, and reflections on the history and ongoing work for LGBTQIA+ rights.
