Photo highlights from the capital league final between Wellington Marist and Lower Hutt City. Lower Hutt City however didn't read the script as they took the lead inside ten minutes, before Kalib Bouma equalised after climbing highest to powerfully head home to level the score. Captain Gary Swain scored from the spot emphatic fashion to give the champions elect the lead before Lathim Greig made the scoreline comfortable a minute before halftime. The second half was a largely uneventful but feisty affair before Lathim Greig capped off a fine performance adding a fourth ten minutes from time (see photo 7), after heading home from close range to spark wild celebrations from the home side.
